On a different subject, we wanted to share with you that Four Regions Slum 
Network held a solidarity action, marching to the Japanese embassy in 
Bangkok, demonstrating, and submitting a petition yesterday, 31 March, in 
support of homeless friends living in Miyashita Park, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, 
who will be evicted by the park's conversion into Nike Park. A first 
secretary from the Japanese embassy, Mr. Suzuki Rikio, accepted the 
petition and promised to send it to the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo, to be 
forwarded to Shibuya Ward.
